Job Title: Product Manager
About the Role
We are looking for a Product Manager help us build and evolve our world-class Ops-IQ product suite. It is at the core of every transformational analytics product built for our Communication Service Provider (CSP) Tier-1 customer as well as IIoT. We work closely with the Reflex platform team that build and deploy the AI/ML platform, driving transformation for our worldwide customers.
Your primary Responsibilities
- Maximizing analytics value through productization of our AI/ML research at a regular cadence through agile product management
- Balance technical constraints and resource constraints and still deliver differentiating ML capabilities in the platform that clearly illustrate business value to customers
- Customer/Market to product technical translation: Translate product strategy and customer asks into technical stories and detailed requirements for the engineering team
- Work collaboratively with field-technology (CTO group), analytics research and engineering to define game changing AI//ML capabilities in our Ops-IQ product suite
- Work closely with platform architects & engineers of your domain and know how to build cutting edger capabilities incrementally using agile product management techniques with a strong focus and balance on the long-term AI/ML strategy
- Constantly evaluate the market penetration of your product, how to drive increased adoption, and improve the user experience
- Contribute to the product strategy and roadmap of ML initiatives to help drive the most impact to our customers in CSPs and IIoT domains
- Shipping enterprise-grade features that solve true customer problems and are able to prove business value by defining and tracking product success metrics and presenting to executives and customers at a regular cadence
Skills:
Who you are
- You have strong communication skills, strong business acumen and great product instincts
- You have at least five years' relevant experience in software product management working in the big data analytics domain
- You have at least five years' relevant experience in software product management working in the Communication Service Provider (CSP) domain
- You have a BE/BS degree in Computer Science or a similar quantitative discipline. An advanced degree in CS or equivalent experience is good to have but not necessary. Having previously served in a CSP operations role is a huge positive
- You have very strong story-telling skills: You must be able to look at a diverse set of information collected from sales, customers, market research, users, and synthesize them to create motivating customer-centric stories and detailed requirements for platform engineers
- You have a customer-first mind-set and obsess about why and how customers use our platform and use these insights to keep customers' best interest in product decisions and overall backlog prioritization at all times
- You have a solid business to technology intuition using which you are able to identify the right analytics capabilities for business opportunities, make prioritization calls, and translate the customer/market needs to platform requirements
- You understand the network operations and service operations lifecycle and challenges in a typical CSP environment
- You have familiarity with ML platforms, and ML algorithms and AI techniques
- You have strong design skills, and can work with UX designers and customers to constantly define and improve on product usability
- You are at home with technologies such as Spark, Hadoop, ElasticSearch, DSML platforms
- You have very good working knowledge about Cloud AI/ML platform capabilities across Azure, GCP and AWS and keep up with the latest market trends
- You understand well the security and compliance environment large scale enterprises have to operate in and incorporate that In our products
- You are well versed in building products using microservices, Service Oriented Architectures, and REST APIs and lean product development methodologies
Education:
- You have a BE/BS degree in Computer Science or a similar quantitative discipline. An advanced degree in CS or equivalent experience is good to have but not necessary. Having previously served in a CSP operations role is a huge positive
