Position Overview:
We are seeking a Methods Agent to join our team, where innovation, quality, and empowerment drive success. This role involves creating and maintaining detailed manufacturing documentation for our products, enhancing efficiency, and collaborating with various internal teams. This fully in-office role requires close interaction with Production, Quality, Procurement, and other departments to address technical challenges and optimize workflows.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and update Engineering Masters (EM) and Work Instructions (WI) to outline parts, processes, and special instructions.
- Create Assembly Manuals detailing requirements for aircraft installations and assemblies.
- Specify tools needed for component manufacturing or assembly.
- Revise supplemental planning documentation for aircraft assembly and sub-assemblies.
- Manage Engineering change requests to improve build efficiency and quality.
- Analyze manufacturing problems and collaborate on solutions, considering cost and impact.
- Participate in continuous improvement and audits.
- Support Non-Conformance Management and efficiency plans.
- Aid in technical skills training and support for manufacturing and assembly teams.
Qualifications:
- Degree or diploma in Engineering or Engineering Technology, or relevant hands-on experience.
- 5+ years of experience in large component manufacturing, preferably aerospace.
- Experience in Manufacturing Engineering, planning, or Methods roles.
- Knowledge of aircraft fabrication, assembly, and cost estimating.
- Proficiency in MS Suite, CAD software, and ERP systems.
- Strong problem-solving skills, customer focus, and the ability to manage multiple projects.
