We are seeking a seasoned Operations Manager - Assembly to lead and oversee assembly production operations at a major aerospace manufacturing site in Victoria, BC. This leadership role is critical in ensuring the on-time delivery of assembled products to both internal and external stakeholders, while maintaining alignment with broader operational strategies and business goals.

As the Operations Manager - Assembly, you will collaborate cross-functionally with engineering, methods, planning, and supply chain teams to optimize workflow, foster continuous improvement, and drive safety and performance culture.

Key Responsibilities

Leadership & Planning

• Lead and mentor production teams to meet daily, weekly, and monthly operational targets.
• Align production operations with short- and mid-term business objectives via actionable KPIs and plans.
• Foster a respectful, transparent, and safe work environment.
• Champion a safety-first culture with full compliance to health and safety protocols.
• Resolve operational issues and support risk mitigation strategies.

Operational Execution & Compliance

• Oversee daily assembly, maintenance, and troubleshooting activities.
• Ensure compliance with internal quality standards and regulatory requirements (e.g., Transport Canada, AS9100).
