This opportunity is ideal for a hands-on finance leader who combines practical accounting expertise with strategic insight. We're looking for someone who is eager to immerse themselves in the business, drive performance through detailed analysis, and help lead the organization through its next phase of growth.
Key Responsibilities:
• Financial Management: Lead all bookkeeping activities, including invoicing, A/P and A/R, account reconciliations, and government remittance.
• Financial Analysis: Conduct in-depth financial reporting and deliver strategic insights that inform business decisions.
• Payroll Oversight: Ensure accurate and compliant payroll operations.
• Business Analysis: Examine business unit performance and identify areas for operational improvement.
• Leadership: Guide the organization through periods of growth while ensuring strong team performance and a positive work environment.
• Staff Supervision: Oversee direct reports, manage workloads, and foster collaboration.
Desired Skills and Experience:
• Proven experience in corporate accounting and payroll management.
• Proficient with Sage Intacct, MS Office; experience with Salesforce integrations is an asset.
• Ability to lead ERP modernization initiatives and streamline financial systems.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills.
• High attention to detail and a methodical, analytical approach.
• Capable of balancing hands-on financial tasks with strategic planning.
• Adaptable and motivated to take on increasing responsibility as the company scales.
• Curiosity and business acumen to understand operational and financial nuances.
• A collaborative, proactive leader who thrives on problem-solving and continuous improvement.
Qualifications:
• Degree in Accounting or Finance.
• CPA designation preferred.
Compensation:
Salary Range: $110,000–$125,000, depending on experience and career stage.
