The Strategic Sourcing Manager will be responsible for defining and implementing the sourcing strategy for key components. This will include components such as Solar panels, BESS, PCS/Power Electronics Inverters, Transformers, Switchgear. You will also be responsible for defining and implementing the subcontracting services on a global basis for all business units, as well as managing the performance of the applicable supply lane.

Job Description & Key Responsibilities

• Develops and secures buy-in for global BESS and PCS and other key equipment strategy through the sourcing process
• Understands costing and cost drivers
• Responsible for initial procurement, inventory, IP and confidentiality agreements for new and incumbent suppliers
• Manages integration of new suppliers or products
• Manages sourcing to achieve lowest total cost: price, quality, inventory, logistics, and flexibility
• Manage the vendor on major equipment (battery, PCS, transformers, switchgears, etc.) specifications and qualification
• Monitors capacity in the supply chain, using global forecasts to assess and address potential supply issues

• Execute high-level spend analysis to identify trends and patterns for the purpose of global reporting and communicating areas of cost savings opportunity
• Facilitate communication between engineering and suppliers for critical items and those without established supply chain
