Work Schedule

Rotating schedule between 5x10-hour and 4x10-hour shifts to achieve 180 hours/month.

Team A and Team B alternate to ensure Friday coverage.

Daily planning meeting at 8:00 AM to set priorities.

Shift start time: no later than 7:30 AM (ideal: 7:00 AM).

10-hour shifts include lunch and short breaks.
Role Overview
As a Work Planner, you will support the restart of a nuclear reactor by developing and coordinating detailed maintenance and project work packages. This includes both preventive and corrective maintenance aligned with project milestones and safety regulations.
Key Responsibilities

Develop integrated maintenance and project schedules using Primavera P6, aligned with restart timelines and regulatory milestones.

Prepare detailed work packages including procedures, permits, material lists, craft-specific tasks, and resource plans.

Ensure all work packages comply with nuclear safety and quality standards.

Support field teams by providing clear, executable plans that meet site procedures and safety regulations.

Coordinate planning efforts across mechanical, electrical, I&C, and civil disciplines.

Collaborate with engineering, operations, radiation protection, and construction to verify field conditions and ensure readiness.

Participate in readiness reviews, planning board meetings, and risk workshops to identify constraints and dependencies.

Apply formal change management processes to maintain configuration control when addressing scope or schedule changes.

Conduct field walkdowns to confirm job scope, safety conditions, and material availability.

Ensure accurate status updates and data entry in Asset Suite or Maximo for schedule forecasting and coordination.

Provide planning metrics and reports to project leadership and stakeholders.
Qualifications

Minimum 5 years of planning experience in nuclear or heavy industrial settings.

Recent experience in the nuclear industry is required.

Advanced proficiency in Primavera P6 (baseline management, critical path, reporting).

Experience with Asset Suite, Maximo, or equivalent CMMS tools.

Familiarity with outage/shutdown or EPC schedule integration.

Solid understanding of NRC regulations, including 10 CFR Part 50.
