Job Title: Server Analyst - Senior (Cloud Services - Openshift)
Project Overview
This resource will provide subject matter expertise and additional capacity to the operational team. Duties will include support for Openshift environments (cloud and on premise hosted), management of the clusters, implementation of best practices, and frequent engagement with developers, DevOps lead, product owners, project managers, senior leadership.
ADDITIONAL DELIVERY DETAILS TO BE SHARED WITH POTENTIAL CANDIDATES:
- Support workloads and workflows of developers and service owners in the context of the platforms.
- Provide technical leadership to implement changes, configurations, and processes to improve platform stability and efficient service delivery.
- Leverage subject matter expertise in container platforms to support the implementation and operations of new OpenShift clusters and other platforms as required.
- Engage with other subject matter experts, vendors, developers, service owners, operational teams (storage, server, network, security, cloud ops, etc.), and the devops program lead.
- Support development of documentation and technical architecture plans.
- Support initiatives through intake process.
Description of Services
Responsible for proactively maintain and improve the server core infrastructure functionality and to work within existing procedures and guidelines to meet client business requirements.
- perform problem diagnosis, troubleshooting and resolution.
- perform hardware and OS installations, migrations and/or upgrades.
- plan for software and hardware upgrades and/or migrations.
- develop and maintain documentation.
- maintain operating systems and associated infrastructure software.
- develop system related procedures.
- provide cross training and knowledge transfer to other server team members on relevant aspects of hardware and software support.
