Overview
We are seeking an experienced Civil Engineer to support ongoing work with Bruce Power. The ideal candidate will bring strong technical design expertise, familiarity with Canadian codes and standards, and hands-on experience with structural design software.
Key Responsibilities
- Perform civil and structural design activities in accordance with Canadian codes and regulatory requirements.
- Prepare engineering calculations, design reports, and technical documentation.
- Utilize STAAD.Pro for structural modeling and analysis.
- Support constructability reviews, design verifications, and interdisciplinary coordination.
- Collaborate with project teams to ensure compliance with safety, quality, and nuclear industry standards.
Qualifications
- Minimum 6 years of civil/structural design experience in Canada.
- Strong working knowledge of Canadian Civil and Structural Codes (e.g., NBCC, CSA standards).
- Proficiency in STAAD.Pro for structural analysis and design.
- Experience in the nuclear sector is an asset, but not required.
