Role: Engineering Scheduler (TS)- Intermediate or Senior
Contract Duration: 09/08/2025 - 12/31/2025
Work Location: Saskatoon, SK
Work Schedule: 40 hours a week Monday - Friday

Role Description / Key Responsibilities
- This position will provide key project planning / scheduling support specifically for the engineering team and their directly related tasks and deliverables only. The position will provide support for input into the overall project schedule
- Must have a strong understanding of the engineering disciplines and the typical sequence of their work and deliverables
- Must have an understanding of work breakdown structure (WBS), critical path method (CPM) scheduling, earned value analysis, logic, and baseline management
- Must have knowledge of engineering, procurement and construction management (EPCM) to plan and schedule a project from beginning through to completion
- Update, review and analyze schedule progress on a weekly, monthly basis, and provide relevant feedback to the Project Engineer (PE) to assist the PE in providing project forecast to the project scheduler. Incorporate project change orders when required, updating project activities and baselines •Attend, contribute and provide feedback for project meetings as required
- Prepare input to engineering team schedules required for the submission and eventual approval of project funding
- Work simultaneously on multiple projects, meeting critical reporting deadlines and project requirements
- Consult the Engineering Manager and Project Engineering team on in-progress and upcoming future schedules, or workflow improvements
- Assist in educating, training, and building schedule knowledge of the user group – assisting them to understand Cameco schedule requirements, processes, and inputs
- Expectations of this role are regular in-person attendance at the Saskatoon office, with non-guaranteed potential for flexibility to work a portion of time from home. (i.e. Monday to Thursday in office, Friday at home.) Please do not submit for this role if this requirement cannot be met.
Skills / Previous Experience
- 5+ years advanced proficiency using specifically MS Project
- 5+ years of relevant experience in Project Controls, Project Management, Engineering. Preference for this role is a P.Eng. due to the need to understand the engineering design elements and interactions between disciplines, vendors, and other teams.
- 5+ years experience using other scheduling/project management software such as JIRA or Wrike. This is desirable, though not required.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills, ability to build rapport with colleagues
- Ability to work independently and prioritize workload
- Rigorous attention to detail
