Facility Manager - Contract - Greensboro, NC
What You’ll Be Doing:
Help bring a brand-new facility to life! You'll team up with the Head of Operational Mobilization to ensure a smooth handover from the turnkey provider and coordinate with key external partners.
Become the expert on everything behind the scenes—from site layouts to service connections and warranties. You’ll know how it all fits together and who’s responsible for what.
Use your local knowledge to steer us through legal and regulatory requirements with confidence.
Lead the charge on-site with the subcontracted security team, ensuring everything is secure, efficient, and running like clockwork.
Work closely with the Base Operations Manager to design and implement smart, safe working procedures and thorough risk assessments.
✅ What You Bring to the Table:
Education or hands-on experience in Buildings, Construction, Engineering, or Facilities Management—ideally at the postgrad level or equivalent.
At least 5 years of solid experience in facilities management. You’ve seen it, solved it, and kept things running smoothly.
A strong background in engineering maintenance or facilities operations.
Bonus points for experience in physical security management—you're not just keeping the lights on; you’re keeping the place safe.
Ongoing professional development is your thing—from technical updates to leadership and project management training.
Excellent people skills. You know how to communicate clearly, lead with purpose, and build a strong, inclusive team.
You understand Health & Safety requirements and how to apply them practically.
You're tech-savvy and have a good grasp of facilities systems and manufacturing environments.
Sharp with contracts and commercially aware—you know how to manage budgets and vendor relationships like a pro.
Proficient with a wide range of digital tools and systems.
