Job Title: ITP Writer
Location: Bruce Nuclear Site (or as required)
Contract Rate: $70–$80/hour
Security Clearance: Must be eligible for Bruce Power clearance

Position Summary
We are seeking an experienced ITP Writer with a background in quality assurance, procedure writing, and ideally nuclear industry experience. The successful candidate will work closely with Subject Matter Experts (SMEs), project teams, and engineering to support maintenance activities by developing and reviewing Inspection and Test Plans (ITPs), technical procedures, and supporting documentation.
Key Responsibilities

Support SMEs in the preparation of detailed work plans and WOTIs (Work Order Task Instructions) identifying equipment maintenance requirements.

Review Engineering Change (EC) packages and associated Inspection and Test Plans (ITPs).

Prepare, review, and revise technical procedures necessary to support maintenance and testing activities.

Collaborate with engineering, work management, and project teams to ensure alignment of ITPs and procedures with project and operational requirements.

Conduct thorough reviews of materials, drawings, specifications, procedures, and applicable codes associated with the work scope.

Provide feedback to engineering, project teams, and quality specialists regarding technical documentation and quality requirements.

Observe function testing and provide quality oversight during equipment disassembly, packing, shipping, and unpacking activities.

Communicate progress updates and escalate issues to ensure awareness and timely resolution.

Participate in project meetings and coordinate with stakeholders throughout all project phases.

Review construction vendor QA programs and assess quality function compliance.

Provide input and recommendations on quality requirements and best practices.

Perform other duties as required.
Qualifications
Education:
-
Relevant post-secondary education in engineering, quality assurance, or a related technical field.
Experience:
-
2–3 years of experience in a related role involving quality, procedure writing, or technical documentation.

Previous experience in the nuclear industry is highly preferred.

Prior experience with WOTI writing, ITP development, and quality processes in a regulated environment.
