Hourly Rate: $75 - 85/hour


Job Description:

As a Lead Planner, you will play a pivotal role in the planning and execution of our critical projects in the nuclear sector. You will be based in our Mississauga office three days a week and have the flexibility to work from home two days a week. 


Key Responsibilities:

• Develop and manage comprehensive project schedules for nuclear projects, ensuring alignment with engineering, procurement, construction, and commissioning phases.
• Collaborate closely with project managers, engineers, and other stakeholders to ensure timely delivery of project milestones.
• Utilize your understanding of the CANDU USI/ACI/SCI system to enhance project planning and execution.
• Conduct regular schedule reviews and updates, identifying potential risks and implementing mitigation strategies.
• Prepare detailed progress reports and present findings to senior management and clients.
• Ensure compliance with industry standards and regulatory requirements.
• Provide leadership and mentorship to junior planners within the team.

Qualifications:

• Proven experience with the Bruce Power MCR Work Program or Darlington RFR Work Program.
• In-depth knowledge of the engineering, procurement, construction, and commissioning processes for CANDU reactors.
• Excellent P6 knowledge of use
• Proficient in the use of project management and scheduling software.
• Strong understanding of the CANDU USI/ACI/SCI system.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a collaborative team.
• Detail-oriented with strong organizational and analytical skills.

Preferred Qualifications:

• Professional certifications in project management (PMP, PMI-SP, etc.).
• Experience with other nuclear power projects or related infrastructure projects.
• Familiarity with regulatory frameworks and standards in the nuclear industry.
