Location: Mississauga, Ontario  
 On-Site: 3 days/week at the Mississauga office. 2 days WFH 
 Duration: 1 Year  
 Hourly Rate: $75 - 85/hour 
 
 
 Job Description: 
 
 As a Lead Planner, you will play a pivotal role in the planning and execution of our critical projects in the nuclear sector. You will be based in our Mississauga office three days a week and have the flexibility to work from home two days a week.  
 
 
 Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and manage comprehensive project schedules for nuclear projects, ensuring alignment with engineering, procurement, construction, and commissioning phases.
- Collaborate closely with project managers, engineers, and other stakeholders to ensure timely delivery of project milestones.
- Utilize your understanding of the CANDU USI/ACI/SCI system to enhance project planning and execution.
- Conduct regular schedule reviews and updates, identifying potential risks and implementing mitigation strategies.
- Prepare detailed progress reports and present findings to senior management and clients.
- Ensure compliance with industry standards and regulatory requirements.
- Provide leadership and mentorship to junior planners within the team.
 Qualifications: 
- Proven experience with the Bruce Power MCR Work Program or Darlington RFR Work Program.
- In-depth knowledge of the engineering, procurement, construction, and commissioning processes for CANDU reactors.
- Excellent P6 knowledge of use
- Proficient in the use of project management and scheduling software.
- Strong understanding of the CANDU USI/ACI/SCI system.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a collaborative team.
- Detail-oriented with strong organizational and analytical skills.
 Preferred Qualifications: 
- Professional certifications in project management (PMP, PMI-SP, etc.).
- Experience with other nuclear power projects or related infrastructure projects.
- Familiarity with regulatory frameworks and standards in the nuclear industry.
