Production Manager
We are looking for a Production Manager to oversee day-to-day operations in our Moncton facility. This leadership role is responsible for coordinating people, processes, and resources to deliver projects on time, within budget, and to the highest quality standards, while fostering a culture of continuous improvement.
Main Duties & Responsibilities:

Lead a team of technicians, tradespeople, Team Leaders, and Supervisors in manufacturing, assembly, and project execution, using engineering drawings and design data to meet business and customer expectations.

Partner with the Operations Manager and Project Managers to keep projects on schedule, within budget, and aligned with quality objectives.

Train and guide employees to follow established production processes and procedures.

Uphold compliance with company safety programs and regulatory requirements.

Oversee availability, maintenance, and readiness of equipment and tooling.

Facilitate production meetings and contribute to progress reporting and KPI tracking.

Coordinate production schedules, aligning staff, materials, and equipment, and adjust plans as needed.

Recommend capital investments to support production efficiency.

Maintain up-to-date employee training records and certifications.

Manage workforce planning, payroll approvals, vacation/absence tracking, recruitment, onboarding, performance management, and staff development.

Champion the Safety, Quality, Cost, Delivery, Inventory, and People (SQCDP) framework.

Drive a culture of accountability, engagement, and continuous improvement across the facility.

Promote an inclusive, respectful workplace aligned with company values and ethical business practices.

Take on other duties as required by leadership.
What you bring
-
Degree in a related field, or equivalent combination of education and experience.

5+ years in a leadership role within a manufacturing environment.

Proven ability to lead, develop, and motivate teams.

Solid knowledge of production planning, methods, and processes.

Strong ability to read and interpret engineering drawings and related design data.

Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel) and familiarity with MRP systems.

Strong understanding of workplace safety legislation and standards.

High sense of accountability, urgency, and organizational discipline.

Knowledge of Lean Manufacturing; Green Belt certification is an asset.
Additional Requirements
Must be eligible under Canadian export control regulations, including the Controlled Goods Program and applicable government security requirements.
