Position Summary
The Modification Team Lead (MTL) will work closely with Project Managers, Schedulers, and project execution teams to coordinate detailed design and construction work plans. This role involves supporting project planning, execution, and closeout activities while ensuring efficiency, constructability, and adherence to project timelines.
Key Responsibilities
Modification Team Lead Duties:

Provide oversight and coordination with design subcontractors.

Prepare installation and commissioning work plans/procedures.

Update operations and maintenance procedures to reflect modification changes.

Conduct constructability reviews to ensure designs are practical and efficient.

Collaborate with project and engineering teams to develop construction strategies.

Attend and lead design and planning meetings to ensure schedule and deliverable progress.

Manage vendor documentation, drawings, and specifications.

Oversee punch list resolution prior to commissioning and turnover.

Conduct site surveys or walkdowns as needed to verify design information.
Work Planning Responsibilities:

Conduct stakeholder meetings for work planning.

Prepare and issue Work Plans (WPs) in accordance with design Engineering Changes (ECs).

Review design EC revisions for impacts on WPs.

Ensure all work is executed safely, in compliance with corporate safety policies, ISO 18001, OHSA, and ISO 14001 environmental requirements.
Qualifications & Skills

Bachelor’s degree in Engineering (required).

Minimum 2 years of nuclear construction experience.

Ability to obtain or maintain nuclear security clearance.

Strong understanding of scheduling, job costing, and project tracking systems.

Excellent technical, organizational, and interpersonal skills.
