Job Title: Automation Specialist - Control Panel Design

We are seeking a skilled and detail-oriented Control Panel Designer - Automation Specialist to join our dynamic engineering team. In this role, you will be responsible for designing and developing control panels for automation systems, ensuring they meet industry standards and client specifications. Your work will play a critical role in the efficiency and safety of automated processes for Maritime HVAC systems.

Key Responsibilities:

• Design and layout control panels for automated systems, including schematics and wiring diagrams.
• Select appropriate hardware and software components to meet system requirements.
• Collaborate with project managers, engineers, and clients to understand project specifications and constraints.
• Develop and maintain detailed documentation for designs, including bills of materials and assembly instructions.
• Conduct simulations and tests to validate control panel designs.
• Ensure designs comply with relevant safety and industry standards.
• Provide technical support during the installation and commissioning of control panels.
• Continuously research and implement new technologies to improve design processes and system performance.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering, Automation Engineering, or a related field.
• Proven experience in control panel design and automation systems.
• Proficiency with CAD software (e.g., AutoCAD).
• Strong understanding of PLCs, HMIs, VFDs, and other automation components.
• Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
• Strong communication skills and the ability to work collaboratively in a team environment.

Preferred Qualifications:

• Experience with programming and configuring PLCs and HMIs.
• Familiarity with industrial communication protocols (e.g., Ethernet/IP, Modbus).
• Certification in control systems or automation engineering.
