We are seeking a Building Science Engineer who will be working closely with the Project Manager, acting as PM or technical lead on various projects and meeting production requirements of the projects. The ideal candidate will provide exceptional customer service and coordination assistance with internal and external project partners (consultants, contractors, etc.).

Reports to: Team Lead or Engineering Manager
Based at: Regional Office- Vancouver, BC

Ability to coordinate with all service lines, extract, and relay relevant information for complex problems.
Application knowledge of our systems and programs (including MS Office 365, SharePoint, Deltek Vision, discipline specific drafting/design software, etc.)
Understand building codes, model national energy code, ASTM standards, CGSB standards, CSA standards
Ability to identify risks – to satisfy client and the company requirements.
Understanding of:

waterproofing

stucco
transfer of heat, air, and moisture through a building envelope

Qualifications and Experience:
Bachelor’s degree in engineering
P.Eng. status with appropriate provincial association
4 – 6 years of experience minimum
Must have valid class 5 driver’s license
