Overview
We are seeking an experienced Advanced Laser Welding Programmer / Manufacturing Engineer to support gas turbine manufacturing operations. This role is responsible for developing, programming, and optimizing complex 3D laser welding processes while ensuring high-quality, repeatable results in a production environment.
Key Responsibilities

Develop, simulate, and optimize 5-axis 3D laser welding programs using Siemens Sinumerik One controls.

Utilize the TRUMPF Teach Panel with 6D mouse technology to define tool paths and nozzle positioning across complex 3D geometries.

Configure and program VisionLine Detect camera systems to automatically identify workpiece features and apply real-time positional corrections.

Optimize welding parameters using BrightLine Weld Comfort technology to achieve high feed rates while minimizing spatter and maintaining component quality.

Manage FocusLine Professional settings, enabling programmable focus positions and aspect ratios tailored to material thickness.

Lead the prove-out of new part recipes, ensuring production readiness.

Monitor and document real-time laser power data through Active Laser Power Control to support consistent and reproducible weld outcomes.
Ideal Background

Strong experience in laser welding programming within a manufacturing environment.

Hands-on expertise with Siemens Sinumerik controls and TRUMPF laser technologies preferred.

Experience supporting high-precision or turbine-related manufacturing is considered an asset.
