Location: Oakland, CA

Type of Employment: Contract - 12 months

Role & Responsibilities:

· Developing and maintaining project schedules using Primavera P6.

· Performing cost analysis, forecasting, and budget tracking for assigned projects.

· Supporting Earned Value Management (EVM) processes and variance analysis.

· Preparing weekly and monthly project performance reports including progress curves, KPIs, and cost/schedule trends.

· Collaborating with project managers and stakeholders to ensure alignment between the project plan, actuals, and forecasts.

· Managing change control processes, including tracking changes and evaluating impacts on schedule and cost.

· Providing support during project risk reviews and facilitating contingency planning.

· Ensuring compliance with client and PTAG project control standards and procedures

Qualifications / Requirements:

· Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Construction Management, Finance, or a related field.

· Minimum 3-5 years of relevant project controls experience in capital projects (preferably within infrastructure, power, or heavy industrial sectors).

· Proficient in project controls software, particularly Primavera P6 and MS Excel; experience with cost systems (e.g., EcoSys, Prism) is an asset.

· Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with a detail-oriented approach.

· Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to effectively collaborate with project teams and stakeholders.

· Understanding of EVM and project performance metrics.

· PMP, AACEI (CCP, PSP), or similar certification is an asset.
