Job Closing Date: Monday, October 7th at 4:00 PM
Duration: 6 Months (to extend for an additional six (6) month term)
Hours of Work: Monday to Friday – seven and a half (7.5) hours per day (EDT)
On-Site: Work can be completed on a site/office basis 5 days per week, 8:15 am to 4:30pm. Flexibility will be possible.
Job Summary:
We are looking for a Project Coordinator who will be part of the Industrial Sites team and work directly under the direction of the Manager, Industrial Sites in support of the construction oversight of the project.
Individuals will provide support and direct oversight to field activities within the construction scope of work to ensure compliance with Ontario Building Code, Contract Specifications, and design requirements.
Roles & Responsibilities:
- Actively assists with the definition, coordination and implementation of the various construction work packages under the scope of services described as site restoration.
- Reviewing various project documents including Scopes of Works, project schedules and engineering design.
- Coordinate ‘Review & Comment’ of contractor documentation with CNL functional groups, or other tasks as they arise.
- Liaise with various internal stakeholders or function groups to complete various project coordination tasks.
- Request Clarification from contractors when required to accurately move project forward.
- Troubleshoot issues and questions, utilizing the CNL team when needed.
- Review technical studies and reports prepared by design consultants and other contributing parties to ensure high quality (technical accuracy) and consistency with requirements to CNL technical documentation standards.
- Continuous improvements-identify process improvement opportunities and industry field technologies, including applicable codes and standards related to PHAI project activities.
- Review work plans and implementation, champion quality.
- Other duties as assigned by the manager.

What We Are Looking For:
- A Bachelor of Engineering Degree, Civil or Environmental, or Bachelor degree in a related scientific area with a minimum of two years of related experience.
- Five years of directly relatable experience in a Construction, Engineering, or related Scientific Industry.
- Security clearance required: Reliability Status preferred. Candidate must have a minimum of 3 years of verifiable history in Canada, Australia, New Zealand, United States and/or the United Kingdom.
- Preference given for candidates that have an active security clearance with CNL or another nuclear organization (i.e. OPG, Bruce Power, CNL Chalk River).
