We are assisting our client a leader in the aviation and marine sectors in their search for an AME Crew Chief (AW169) for their Vancouver, BC location. 
 
 Responsibilities: 
 
 • Oversee and supervise a team comprising of AME’s and apprentices. 
 • Perform maintenance tasks including adjustments, modifications, testing, diagnosis, and repairs on the mechanical and structural systems of aircraft. 
 • Utilize specialized aviation tools, power tools, computers, and diagnostic equipment. 
 • Execute scheduled maintenance duties. 
 • Maintain accurate and punctual records of maintenance and repair activities. 
 • Adhere strictly to established procedures, rules, and regulations during all tasks. 
 • Demonstrate thorough familiarity with and adherence to safety protocols and practices. 
 • Wear appropriate Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) for assigned tasks. 
 • Ensure cleanliness and productivity in the work environment. 
 • Perform aircraft cleaning duties for both interior and exterior areas, excluding medical biohazards. 
 • Work efficiently both independently and as part of a team. 
 • Comprehend and comply with Safety & Health Policy Statement, Company Occupational Health & Safety Manual, Company Policies and Procedures, and the MPM. 
 • Utilize the company's reporting system to report hazards, incidents, or accidents. 
 • Accurately input labor data into the labor tracking system for all completed tasks. 
 • Carry out work in accordance with Transport Canada guidelines and the MPM. 
 • Fulfill any additional responsibilities as assigned. 
 
 The ideal candidate should possess: 
 
 • Valid Transport Canada M1 and/or M2 AME license. 
 • Prior experience with rotary-wing assets, preferably with Leonardo Helicopters AW-Family aircraft, specifically the AW169. 
 • Demonstrated proficiency with WinAir or similar maintenance programs. 
 • Strong organizational abilities. 
 • Experience in leading a team. 
 • Proficiency in English, both written and spoken. 
 • Physical capability to sit or crouch for extended periods, walk, stand, and work in confined spaces. 
 • Willingness to undertake shift work and comfortable with working at height. 
 • Eligibility for an Airport Restricted Area Identity Card (RAIC). 
 • Authorization to work in Canada and/or possession of a Canadian passport. 
 • Possession of a valid driver’s license. 
 
 Expected Salary: $67,259 to $100,889
