Document Control Specialist
Location: Rochester, NY
Type of Employment: Contract 1 year - can be extended annually
Role & Responsibilities:
- Manage and co-ordinate access and permission rights to the Document Management System for staff and external contractors.
- Support Engineering Dept. Stamping P&C Drawings.
- Support, monitor and review suppliers and Contractor Documentation.
- Undertake training sessions on Document Management Systems with staff and external contractors.
- Attend project Kick off Meetings as required.
- Administration of records, drawings, and documents in accordance with the Quality Management System and other specifications.
- Establish and maintain project drawings registers.
- Establish individual project document transmittals.
- Coordinate the project Final File with Construction and Drawing Office.
- Coordinate final project archive.
Qualifications / Requirements:
- Working knowledge of Document Management Systems with particular emphasis placed on document control procedures.
- Ability to interpret and present information in a logical and orderly manner.
- Strong IT and administration skills.
- Experience of ISO 9001 Quality Management.
- Inter-personal and communication skills and the ability to form effective working relationships with other individuals, departments, and businesses.

- Previous Document Control Experience.
- Excellent Literacy skills.
- Proven ability to work within a changing workload to agreed timescales.
- Be a proficient IT user on word, Excel, and a recognized database software package
