Description:
Support the Talent Rewards Manager with the design and implementation of benefits for Siemens Energy Canada.
- Perform operational and administrative tasks associated with the administration of benefits and pension plans.
- Conduct process review and recommend/implement improvements to streamline and gain efficiency
- Create documentation library for all Benefits & Pensions processes, timelines, inventories, and participation trackers
- Extract reports and conduct analyses in support of benefits & pension plan administration.
- Prepare materials for board presentations and leadership team sessions.
- Draft communications for HR, management, and employees regarding compensation & benefit programs, leveraging email and internal social media platforms (Yammer).
- Responding to HR inquiries regarding pension and benefits.
- Assist Talent Rewards Manager with project management, through effective organization, documentation, tracking progress, managing deadlines and prioritization of tasks.
Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in Human Resource Management or studying toward a degree in Human Resource Management or related field
- 3-5 years benefit & pensions administration experience.
- A current knowledge of Canada laws and regulations that impact HR, Pension, & Benefit
- Proficiency in all Microsoft Excel, Word, and PowerPoint.
- The ability to work as part of a virtual team, but effective in self-directed activity.
- Comfortable working in a flexible working model, in-office and via online connectivity
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Excellent administrative and organizational skills
- Effective communication skills.
- Strong attention to detail
- Fluent English proficiency required; Advanced proficiency of Canadian French is a plus.
