The Opportunity
We are seeking an experienced Manager, Systems Integration to join a Customer Integration organization in a leadership capacity, reporting to a senior integration leader. This role handles leading the development and integration of advanced technical solutions that enable products and services to be successfully deployed across aircraft platforms.
The position is focused on delivering customer-specific functionality, supporting certification requirements where applicable, and ensuring technical execution challenges are resolved efficiently.
This leader brings broad expertise across embedded and enterprise software, certification environments, tailored configuration, and flight data monitoring. Success in this role requires strong cross-functional leadership, end-to-end ownership, and the ability to deliver high-impact outcomes with speed, discipline, and precision.
Key Responsibilities
Strategic Delivery Leadership
- Ensure fast, reliable delivery by capturing requirements early, streamlining handoff processes, and actively managing day-to-day execution risks.
- Drive continuous improvement in delivery execution through cross-functional collaboration and operational feedback from active customer programs.
- Lead the operational delivery of customer-specific technological solutions that integrate products to meet unique customer use cases.
- Oversee the design, integration, and validation of tailored solutions spanning avionics, communications, and data management systems.
- Identify recurring execution issues and lead enhancements to processes, workflows, and delivery practices in collaboration with Engineering and Operations.
- Conduct structured execution and delivery reviews to ensure prompt decisions, corrective actions, and clear ownership.
- Align internal teams to accelerate service delivery and enable prompt capture of service revenue.
Technical Solutions Development & Integration
- Lead the execution of technical solutions supporting aircraft deployments, ensuring alignment with customer requirements and delivery commitments.
- Oversee the development of customer-specific product features and the resolution of complex technical issues through cross-functional coordination.
- Provide leadership to ensure technical solutions meet applicable certification and regulatory requirements associated with aircraft installations.
- Ensure full conformance with the established Quality Management System (QMS).
People Leadership
- Build, mentor, and develop a high-performing team of direct and indirect reports.
- Provide ongoing coaching, professional development opportunities, and clear growth pathways to strengthen capability, engagement, and performance.
Cross-Functional Execution & Problem Solving
- Partner closely with Project Managers to ensure technical execution aligns with project plans, schedules, and customer requirements.
- Lead and direct Software, Flight Data Monitoring, Design Approval, and Technical Support functions to ensure aligned priorities, disciplined execution, and effective delivery.
- Drive alignment across technical groups to support consistent deployment of integrated solutions.
Process Improvement & Communication
- Function as a key liaison between customer-facing technical teams and Engineering, ensuring operational feedback and delivery challenges inform broader product enhancements.
- Address customer and delivery issues by coordinating cross-functional teams to develop practical, executable solutions.
- Provide regular updates to senior management on delivery status, risks, mitigation actions, and required decisions.
- Maintain clear, consistent communication across departments to support transparency and execution excellence.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Systems Integration, or a related technical discipline.
- Proven experience managing technical solution development, product integration, and aircraft systems certification.
- Strong systems integration expertise with the ability to lead cross-functional technical teams delivering complex customer solutions.
Differentiators (Nice to Have)
- 7+ years of experience in systems integration, product development, or technical program/project leadership within aviation or advanced technology sectors.
- Experience supporting aircraft certification programs, avionics integration, or regulated installation projects.
- Demonstrated ability to partner with Engineering teams to translate customer-driven requirements into scalable product improvements across the broader product line.
