Role: Project Engineer (Intermediate or Senior)

Work Location: Saskatoon, SK corporate office and working from home
Contract Duration: 12 months, 40  hours per week M-F

Key Responsibilities

• Provide project engineering leadership during multiple phases of Cameco’s capital projects: scoping, design development, and/or execution/delivery.
• Responsible for all the technical aspects undertaken on a project, ensuring the technical work is done to a high standard of quality and in accordance with Cameco’s processes, procedures, standards and regulatory requirements.
• Responsible for leading and coordinating multi-disciplinary teams in the production of technical deliverables required for projects assigned.
• Various duties include coordination of technical activities, resource coordination across multiple groups, facilitation of design reviews, preparation of scope of supply packages, supporting preparation of capital cost estimates, preparation of scope of work documentation, and support in planning and preparation of construction and commissioning activities.

Qualifications

• Registered as a P.Eng. with APEGS
• Multidiscipline engineering and hands on commissioning experience are requirements for this role.
