We're partnering with a leading player in the aviation industry to find a Quality Engineer for their Strongsville, OH location.




You'll build strong relationships and serve as the key quality contact on the production floor, especially in the assembly areas at Strongsville. You'll be crucial in supporting RCCA investigations and driving continuous improvement initiatives.




Key Responsibilities:




Oversee MRB quality assurance in NMS for internal/intercompany NCRs, including approvals, submissions, RCCA, and scrap management. Assist with MRB quarantine management for non-conforming parts.


Analyze NCR data for trends, issue CAPA for recurring issues, and ensure follow-up and completion.


Provide the Quality Manager with MRB data to support corrective action boards (CAB) based on product trends.


Aid the Quality Manager in creating Quality Plans that adhere to customer, regulatory, and HDI QMS requirements.


Support the in-house AS9100 QMS and Special Process audit schedule as needed.


Prepare for and participate in third-party Nadcap and AS9100 audits.


Manage stamp control at the Strongsville site.


Develop and deliver training sessions related to quality and other identified needs.


Perform other duties as assigned.




Qualifications:


University degree/college diploma in a relevant engineering discipline or an equivalent combination of education, training, and experience.


5-10 years of aerospace quality experience, with expertise in ISO 9000/AS9100, FAA regulations, part inspections and conformities, corrective/preventive actions, root cause analysis, inspection equipment, and internal auditing.


Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with a preference for those with previous customer relations experience.
