Job Responsibilities:
- Senior Mechanical engineering designer(s) for Candu nuclear power stations, in particular with Bruce Power engineering change control (ECC) experience.
- Skillset includes knowledge of pressure boundary code requirements from CSA N285.0, CSA B51, ASME Section III, and ASME B31.1.
- Design activities include ability to lead multidisciplinary project teams, conduct technical assessments, route mechanical system piping for design packages, prepare equipment specifications, complete walkdowns, and provide emergent engineering support to refurbishment projects & operating unit projects.
Qualifications:
- Engineering Degree, nuclear or mechanical background
- P.Eng.
- 5+ years mechanical design experience
- Knowledge of pressure boundary code requirements from CSA N285.0, CSA B51, ASME Section III, and ASME B31.1.
- Nuclear experience is an asset
