Job Overview:
- This role independently identifies and documents business requirements, develops workflow models, and contributes to the implementation and testing of business solutions. It bridges the gap between stakeholders and delivery teams by translating operational needs into functional outcomes that support business transformation.
JOB DUTIES
- Collaborate with stakeholders to gather, analyze, and document business requirements, user stories, and acceptance criteria.
- Business Process Modeling: Develop and maintain detailed process documentation using BPMN, UML, or similar methodologies.
- Solution Definition: Translate business needs into functional specifications and support solution validation during development and deployment.
- Facilitating Workshops: Lead workshops, interviews, and meetings to define and validate requirements and business rules.
- Acceptance Testing Support: Develop test plans and coordinate user acceptance testing (UAT) for new systems and enhancements.
- Change Adoption: Prepare user documentation, training materials, and post-implementation support plans to facilitate business adoption.
- Continuous Improvement: Identify areas for business process improvement and propose solutions to enhance efficiency and effectiveness.
- Cross-Team Collaboration: Work closely with IT, operations, and PMO teams to ensure solution alignment with organizational priorities.
- Reporting and Dashboards: Contribute to reporting design, data validation, and metrics tracking to monitor solution success.
- Risk and Impact Analysis: Assess business impact and risks associated with proposed changes and ensure mitigation strategies are in place.
Qualifications:
- Role requires knowledge to conduct business analysis, gather and validate requirements, drive process improvement, and manage stakeholders in cross-functional project environments. This knowledge is considered to be normally acquired either through the successful completion of a four-year university education in a STEM (Science, Technology, Engineering, Mathematics) discipline, or by having the equivalent level of education.
- Experience conducting business analysis, including requirements gathering, process improvement, and stakeholder management in cross-functional project environments, is required. A period of 6 to 8 years is considered necessary to gain this experience.
