Position: Capital Equipment Maintenance Planner/Coordinator
Location: Saskatoon ofice and working from home. Occasional travel to Northern SK sites
Days/Hours: Monday to Friday, 40 hours per week
Duration: 3 months with potential extension
Duties & Responsibilities:
- The Capital Equipment Replacement coordinator aids in executing the equipment replacement program
- Working at the direction of our Field Project Manager(s) the coordinator will help to develop specifications, budgets, schedules, funding requests, and procurement packages for the equipment replacement program in line with the needs and timelines of the operations within the mining division
- The coordinator will also support building future year budgets, plans, and schedules for future replacement programs
- Coordinator is required to work with Cameco’s site stakeholders to properly defined the equipment needs and specifications, and then work through Cameco’s supply chain group and various vendors to source equipment to meet the operations needs and align with
- Coordinator is also expected to support ensure maintenance plans are updated for new fleet equipment, training on operations and maintenance is organized with supplying vendors for the operations teams.
Required Skills and Experience:
- Prior experience in heavy equipment, mining equipment, or fleet management is required
- Prior experience in use of Microsoft software systems including Word, Excel, Sharepoint, Project and Teams is required
- Strong organizational skills required
- Journey person qualification preferred, however, other qualifications will be considered
- PMP designation considered an asset
