Title: Bilingual Contract Specialist Position Overview
Site: WFH/Remote, for candidates near Oakville onsite once per week possible
The Contract Specialist will lead the request for proposal (RFX) process, prepare quotations for all modalities of Siemens Healthcare, lead projects with work teams and ensure deadlines are always met.
Responsible for ensuring quotations are accurate and compliant with approved financials. Monitor and ensure contract terms and conditions are reviewed for alignment with SHL terms and conditions and approved by relevant stakeholders. Ensure policies and procedures are adhered to.
The Contract Specialist position will report to the Manager, Contracts within the Offer to Order “OTO” department.
Responsibilities
- Prepare and compile documentation to accompany Proposals and bid responses, obtain internal approvals as required
- Reviews RFP to identify risks and contractual terms not conforming to Company policy.
- Collaborate with all appropriate stakeholders to ensure proper support in Proposal and RFP preparation
- Prepare Quotations and Proposals
- Manage and track RFP projects
- Provide timely and effective communication of inquiries to internal and external customer
- Prepare timely and accurate reports for internal and external customers
- Prepare PO handover and communicate contract award
- Assist and support negotiation of terms and conditions
- Validate and execute contract transactions
- Generate Service Renewals Quotes
- Establish and maintain positive working relationships with all internal and external customers
Required Knowledge/Skills, Education, and Experience
- Minimum 4-5 years of experience in an RFP response and Quotation function
- Diploma or Degree in related discipline
- RFP project management experience is required
- Contracts administration experience with good understanding of terms and conditions
- Exceptional interpersonal and organizational skills
- Excellent verbal and written communications skills
- Strong leadership and effective ability to drive project teams
- Ability to problem solve effectively
- Must be analytical and detail oriented
- Work effectively in a team environment
- Ability to manage tight and multiple deadlines
- Strong knowledge of Microsoft Office
- Fluent English and French verbal and written required
Preferred Knowledge/Skills, Education, and Experience
- Working knowledge of SharePoint an asset
- Working knowledge of SAP is an asset
- Paralegal certification is an asset
