Work Rotation: 2 weeks on, 2 weeks off, 11 hrs per day. Flights from Saskatoon to Cigar Lake, SK.

Description: Years Experience: Intermediate (4-9yrs) or Senior (10+yrs)
- The C&SU Mechanical & Piping Lead has the primary responsibility to ensure all work taken by him/her or his/her crew are completed in a safe manner abiding by all safety program requirements.
- This position is a working supervisor role who physically performs trade work while carrying the responsibility for direct supervision of trade crews performing work under him/her whenever required.
- Modifying, repairing, testing, troubleshooting, and inspecting mechanical and piping installations including, without limitation, the following:
- operating rigging equipment to place heavy parts, repairing, testing, and inspecting piping system components including modifying piping installations (connecting and disconnecting mechanical joints), setting, repairing, testing, and inspecting industrial mechanical equipment such as pumps, compressors, centrifuges, pressure vessels, conveyors, scales, and mining and milling equipment.
- Identifying and documenting deficiencies. Provide input and follow up on deficiencies to make sure they are addressed and closed satisfactorily.
- Completing Cameco defined commissioning documentation (e.g., check sheets, ITPs, and test reports).
- Recording final and accurate as-built/as-left conditions on redline drawings, datasheets, and project documentation.
- Participating in commissioning team meetings including, without limitation, daily toolbox, safety, and Job Hazard Analysis (JHA).
- Support and provide input to development of detailed plans for execution of work.
- Monitoring the schedule and productivity of work and work collaboratively to resolve issues and barriers.
Skills/Previous Experience
- Journeyperson status as an instrumentation mechanic or electrician with strong preference given to dual ticketed individuals.
- Previous experience in a brown field commissioning environment is required.
- Hands on proven experience in commissioning and start-up activities is required.
- Previous experience in a nuclear facility is preferred.
- Supervisor training/certification is required.
- Safety certificate is highly preferred.
- Proficient computer skills required.
