Our client is seeking an experienced Facilities Operations Manager to join their team in Pickering, Ontario. This role is critical in driving project execution within the nuclear industry, delivering innovative solutions that advance clean and safe energy. You will oversee complex projects, manage contracts, and collaborate across technical and business teams to ensure success.
What You’ve Accomplished
- Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Business, or a related field (advanced degree or equivalent experience is an asset).
- 15+ years of progressive experience in project management, contract management, engineering processes, or related disciplines.
- Demonstrated ability to lead large-scale, complex projects in highly regulated industries.
- Strong track record of stakeholder management, contract execution, and project delivery.
Responsibilities
- Lead the planning, execution, and delivery of strategic projects in line with organizational goals.
- Oversee contract management, ensuring compliance with terms, budgets, and schedules.
- Manage cross-functional project teams, ensuring alignment between engineering, business, and operations.
- Identify and mitigate project risks, while driving continuous improvement.
- Act as the primary interface with clients, stakeholders, and partners to maintain strong relationships.
- Provide mentorship and leadership to project teams, fostering a culture of safety, accountability, and excellence.
