Position: Power BI Consultant

The Integrated Services Division has selected Microsoft Power BI as the central reporting tool for performance monitoring through dashboards and key performance indicators. Metrics are pulled from a variety of enterprise systems, including Oracle, ServiceNow and Avaya.
Scope of Work
The Consultant will develop monthly divisional and sectional dashboards, along with a daily visual management board which automatically refreshes in the specified timeframe. These should be comprised utilizing interfaces to pull the required data directly from the following systems, into Power BI:
- Avaya Contact Centre
- Oracle 12C
The consultant will deliver an executive monthly Integrated Services divisional dashboard, with six sub- dashboards based on each section's individual KPI's. These dashboards will be a consolidated view of multiple report results in the form of a diagram. The monthly dashboards will be automatically updated on at 2:00 am on the first day of the month and will display stagnant data until the next month's refresh. These dashboards will also include the ability to manually add additional diagrams/widgets to the overall system generated dashboard.
Additionally, the consultant will create a live, refreshable Visual Management Board containing daily metrics from across the division. This is to be accessed by employees via Service Portal - and format/solution of the VBM will need to be compatible with displaying in ServiceNow Service Poral.
Detailed sectional dashboard report requirements will be provided during discovery sessions with each
Integrated Services section's reporting SPOC for the following areas:
IT Service Delivery
Information Service Delivery
HR Service Delivery
The Consultant will deliver Power BI (.pbx) files for each of the sectional dashboard, which collate into the overall divisional dashboard file, and will provide all source code for any interfaces that are written. The delivered .pbx files must be editable once provided, allowing for the ability to make future adjustments or changes within the reports.
The Consultant will also provide a detailed design document on build of the dashboards, the interfaces, any support requirements, and will provide knowledge transfer sessions on the functionality of each report, and the methodology surrounding the use and output of each report.
Verification and Validation testing of the dashboard will be completed by employees, including any testing documentation.
Estimated time to complete all deliverables is 4-6 weeks.
The Consultant shall be experienced in the utilization of Microsoft Power BI for the creation of visual dashboards using interface data from various systems. Familiarity with data tables in Oracle, Avaya Contact Center and ServiceNow would be an asset.
